A Closer Look at Close Reading A Closer Look at Close Reading

One TpT'er says, "I love that close reading allows my students to read, reread, and revisit smaller passages that contain complex vocabulary and information. They have the opportunity to find evidence in the text to support their thinking and understanding." Learn how teachers from elementary through high school are finding success with close reading in their classrooms.

SELLER SPOTLIGHT
James from Bow Tie Guy
Toccoa, GA

My store focuses on differentiated reading passages for social studies and science topics geared toward 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. I enjoy differentiating to meet the needs of all learners, while integrating valuable social studies and science content. My students enjoy close reading activities about famous historical events, such as the American Revolution, at their own independent reading level. My store also features a Georgia Educator's Teacher Keys organizational binder. After numerous hours in training and after participating in the pilot this year, creating this binder saved my sanity! This will be everything you need to be prepared for the state of Georgia's new teacher evaluation system.
