I design products that help scaffold language arts standards and engage kids with relevant topics. I've taught both general education and special education grades 6-12 in diverse settings. I have found that ALL students can succeed when they are given the chance. As teachers, we have to remember what it's like to struggle, and help kids understand that struggling is the first step on the journey toward learning. My products are designed to provide practice in the things kids need the most in an ELA class — reading comprehension, writing with textual evidence, understanding vocabulary in context, and more.
