For some, learning a second language can be an intimidating task. To overcome this, I have strived to create a learning environment where students are engaged, feel empowered and are able think creatively. I use challenging games, puzzles and other fun activities to help keep students excited about learning a new language. It is my goal to make learning relevant to students’ interests and their everyday lives while keeping tasks meaningful. When creating resources, I incorporate current events, popular media and technology to appeal to today’s learners.
