Truth bomb: math is NOT usually one of my students’ favorite subjects at the beginning of the year (and they aren’t shy about letting me know, either). I make it my mission to change that for as many students as I can. Hearing: “You know, I used to hate math last year but now it’s my favorite class” or “how did I not get this last year? It all makes so much sense now!” is what I strive for with the resources I create. My goal is to make math both fun and accessible for all learners while never lowering the content standards.
