We created NYC Speechies because we felt that there were not enough materials targeting older students. We work with high school students with varying expressive, receptive, and social language difficulties that impact their learning. The biggest challenge when working in a high school is getting the students to consistently attend and actively participate. Our unique, interactive materials showcase engaging topics and help the students realize they will need these skills once they graduate from high school. We strive to give educators clear, easy to use, and low-prep materials to teach reading, writing, vocabulary, executive function, and social skills strategies. The therapy materials and resources we create will make your lives easier, as well as help your students succeed.
