As a Dual Language Teacher, it is my philosophy that I should create a safe and fun environment where students feel a sense of freedom to learn and grow. I use many ELL strategies to make learning fun and engaging for students. I believe lessons should include building vocabulary so that students can build greater comprehension. Through my 13 years of teaching experience, my own philosophy has also grown to include a social justice lens for students. I want students to see and understand that by learning more about one another we can all have deeper understanding about the world. It is my hope to continue to support other teachers and their students through my resources.
