I believe that learning should be a process in which “lightbulbs go off” when the “dots are connected,” and learners are provided with specific strategies to help them do just that. I aim to provide each student with a meaningful learning experience that will last long after the data collection and test prep. It is my goal to give them opportunities to engage with content deeply, taking their learning to the next level while practicing reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. The collaboration between connection, engagement, and differentiation is the foundation of all the resources you’ll find in my store. Though many years of teaching experience have helped, I know for a fact that it has been my focus on building relationships that has made the biggest impact on my students’ academic and personal successes. I am of the school of thought that “learning IS fun!” and I want to pass that on not only to my students but to yours, as well. |
